Royal Ascot is the UK’s most prestigious race meeting, drawing the world’s best racehorses to compete for a substantial prize pool. This event has been a staple of the British summer social calendar for over 300 years, providing a stage for the world’s top racehorses. Queen Anne established the racecourse in 1711 when she came across an open heath that she deemed ‘ideal for horses to gallop at full stretch’ while riding from Windsor Castle.
While ChauffeurAi does offer single journeys to the Royal Ascot, traditionally your vehicle will remain in the designated car park for the day, offering you immediate access to your chauffeur vehicle when you are ready to depart from your enclosure.
At Royal Ascot, you can select from four private enclosures, each offering private vantage points and unparalleled views of the Royal Procession and Parade Ring. Twelve restaurant packages, private boxes or even your own exclusive space are available for selection. With Michelin-Starred chefs such as Raymond Blanc OBE and Phil Howard crafting fine dining à la carte menus, guests can customise their Royal Meeting experience to their tastes.

One of the key features of Royal Ascot is the display of elegant outfits. All attendees are encouraged to wear stylish attire, and those in the prominent audience areas of the Grandstand or Royal Enclosure are required to adhere to a strict dress code that has been upheld for over 200 years. The fashion at Royal Ascot is often the subject of discussion in the British media, and for some, it is as important as the races themselves. Alongside the wide array of fashion on display, Royal Ascot is, of course, all about horse racing. Winners will receive a share of a significant prize pool, with over £10 million available to be won by the racers on the day.
The royal procession arrives at the racecourse in horse-drawn carriages from Windsor Castle. After a parade around the racecourse, members of the Royal family, including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, enter the Royal Box along with other distinguished guests.
